The main purpose of our web site is to share our travel adventures with others and hope that others will respond with their own travel stories. We would enjoy hearing about interesting places, favorite accommodations, and various “off the beaten path” places you’ve discovered.
The hotels and inns that we chose for our “favorite hotels” pages are not necessarily the most luxurious— in fact, very few are VIP haunts or super-star hang outs. Some are quite expensive but only because they have something special to offer—the perfect location, historical significance, or an ambience that is truly unique. They are definitely not places where “everyone else” stays or places where tour groups stay.
